This course is aimed at those who have a working knowledge of echocardiography  who wish to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of clinical echocardiography. It is particularly suited to be part of the preparation for the BSE accreditation examination in transthoracic echocardiography.                                         

                              

There is a wide ranging syllabus including the quantification of  valvular disease, assessment of systolic and diastolic LV systolic function, stress echocardiography and congenital heart disease. This is complemented by an overview of emerging echocardiography techniques including tissue Doppler Imaging and speckle tracking.
